About Dr. Gerald Rana
Treating every member of the family, one patient at a time, is the overarching philosophy of Gerald D. Rana, Jr., DO, DPH. At his family medicine practice, Rana’s Family Medical Clinic, in Wilburton, Oklahoma, Dr. Rana and his friendly, knowledgeable team take the time to get to know each patient as an individual and as a member of their extended family. Patients of all ages receive state-of-the-art treatments and personalized care at the clinic.
Dr. Rana earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine in 1995 from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He completed his postgraduate training in Oklahoma and Texas and received his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Rana is a distinguished member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Cardiology.
Since 1999, Dr. Rana has been in private practice, providing patients with individualized health care solutions to prevent problems and decrease or eliminate potential impacts to their health and wellness. Dr. Rana remains current with the latest treatments and therapies, including his subspecialties of pediatrics, geriatrics, dermatology, and diabetic management.
He is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Oklahoma State University.
When not practicing or teaching family medicine, Dr. Rana is a cattle rancher.
